Woburn Golf Club has a rich history, being founded in 1976. Since then, it has proudly hosted sixty professional tournaments across its three courses: the Duke's, the Duchess, and the Marquess. In a remarkable feat, all three courses were featured in Golf Monthly magazine's prestigious Top 100 Courses in the UK and Ireland. The Dukes Course, designed by Charles Lawrie and opened in 1976, was the first of the three to welcome golf enthusiasts. Following shortly after, the Duchess Course opened in 1978, and its design is admired for catering to the thinking golfer, earning the nickname "Hidden Gem." Lastly, the Marquess course, opened in June 2000, quickly gained fame as the "Jewel in the Crown."

Over the years, Woburn Golf Club has seen some exceptional tournaments, including the British Masters. Renowned champions like Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, and Greg Norman have graced these courses, leaving a legacy etched in the club's history.
