Gullane Golf Club: Where Tradition Meets Championship Golf
Welcome to Gullane Golf Club, one of Scotland's most prestigious member clubs. With a history of over 350 years of golf played over our links, Gullane Golf Club boasts some of the most admired natural links land in the world. Our members club offers a unique range of golfing experiences, combining a major role in the history of golf in Scotland, great golfing conditions, and a truly spectacular environment.
Our championship courses, laid out over prime seaside land, are simply known by number reflecting their age. Gullane No. 1 (1884) has a long history of hosting national and international championship golf events, including the 2018 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open and Ladies Scottish Open, the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open in 2015 as well as Local Final Qualifying for the Open Championship at neighbouring Muirfield. Gullane No. 2 (1898) was laid out by the legendary Willie Park Jr and has also been used for Open Championship Qualifying as well as the Seniors Open Amateur. Gullane No. 3 (1910) was also designed by Willie Park Jr. It may be the shortest of the three courses, but it provides a wonderful test based on shot-making skills rather than power.
Our courses (White tees) offer a challenging yet rewarding golfing experience. Gullane No. 1 is ranked 61 in Golf Monthly and offers 18 holes, a par of 71, and a length of 6583 yards. Gullane No. 2 and No. 3 both offer 18 holes, a par of 71 and 67, and lengths of 6385 and 5134 yards respectively. We also have a Children's course, offering 6 holes with a par of 54.
After your round, head over to our clubhouse where you'll find a welcoming bar and restaurant, perfect for enjoying a drink or meal with friends. Our Pro Shop, run by our professional Alasdair Good, offers a range of services including tuition and practice facilities such as a driving range, putting green, chipping area, and bunkers.
Gullane Golf Club has hosted some of the most prestigious tournaments in golf, including the 2018 Scottish Open won by Brandon Stone and the 2015 Scottish Open won by Rickie Fowler.
