Welcome to Leadhills Golf Course, a corporate club set in the heart of the picturesque village of Leadhills in Biggar. Our 9-hole parkland course boasts a par of 66 and a length of 4354 yards from the white tees.
With a membership of forty three, made up of Junior, Adult, Senior, Country, Family and Friends of the Club, our active membership prides themselves on the warm welcome they extend to day visitors who flock to the course each year. We are a real asset to the community, and our coaching program provides valuable opportunities to students of the local schools, with free membership offered to seven pupils who attended a recent coaching session delivered by a qualified PGA coach.
Collaboration with other groups is key to our sustainability, and we work closely with the Ski Club, with the fairways serving as nursery slopes when the snow arrives. The support we receive from the village and various community groups is vital to the future of our club, and we are grateful to Leadhills Estate, the Toddlers group for fundraising, and the Railway Club members who help with maintenance of equipment.
Our commitment to improving our facilities has led us to work towards re-affiliation with the SGU by the year end. We pride ourselves on providing a warm welcome to all who visit our course, and we are dedicated to continuing to be a valuable asset to our community.
