Welcome to St Clements Golf Club, located in the heart of Ipswich on Ribbans Park Road. As a members club, we offer an exceptional parkland course with 9 holes that provide a challenging yet enjoyable experience for all levels of golfers.
The history of our club is fascinating, as it was originally established in 1969 as a facility for NHS patients and staff. The location of the club is on the grounds of the old Ipswich Borough Mental Health Hospital, with the building being designed by William Ribbans in the Italianesque style. Interestingly, some of the original buildings remain and have been converted into luxury apartments known as Belgrove Place, with the remaining buildings forming a modern housing development.
Our course, with a par of 62, has been designed to provide golfers with an exciting challenge, with a length of 4255 yards from the white tees. Each hole has been meticulously designed to take advantage of the natural landscape, with beautiful scenery throughout the course.
