The integration of the Kilmore Nine with the original Hackett course led to the creation of the Wild Atlantic Dunes course, which showcases the awe-inspiring corners of the world's largest dune system. Visitors to Carne can now enjoy two distinct courses the original Hackett 18 and the newer Wild Atlantic Dunes 18. Carne Golf Links has a rich history, having been founded in 1992. The Hackett course, consisting of 18 holes, offers a par 72 challenge, stretching 6,358 yards from the white tees. The newer Wild Atlantic Dunes course features 9 holes, with a par of 70 and a length of 6,287 yards from the white tees.
