Ballinascorney Golf Club: A Scenic Gem in the Dublin Mountains
Welcome to Ballinascorney Golf Club, located in the picturesque setting of Kilmashogue Lane, Rathfarnham, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. As a members club, we take pride in providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for both members and visitors to enjoy.
Our parkland course is widely regarded as one of the most enjoyable 9-hole courses in the country. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, Ballinascorney offers a challenge suitable for all skill levels. The course was founded in 1971 and initially located in Bohernabreena, County Dublin. However, in 2002, we relocated to our current beautiful location in Kilmashogue Lane.
Over the years, we have continuously strived to enhance the golfing experience for our members and guests. In 2011, we completed an ambitious redevelopment and extension project, which included the construction of new greens and tee-boxes, as well as the addition of two new par 5 holes. These improvements have made our course even more enjoyable and exciting to play.
When it comes to the course itself, from the white tees, we have a par of 71, with a length of 5,819 meters. Our 9-hole layout provides a variety of challenges, including strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and undulating fairways that will test your skills and strategic thinking.
After an exhilarating round of golf, you can relax and unwind at our welcoming clubhouse. We offer a range of amenities to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. Our bar is the perfect place to socialize and share stories of your golfing triumphs. If you're looking for a quick bite or a more substantial meal, our cafe and restaurant cater to your culinary needs.
