Farnham Park Golf Club: A Golfing Paradise in Folly Hill
Welcome to Farnham Park Golf Club, a stunning parkland course located in the heart of Folly Hill, Farnham. This corporate club is perfect for beginners and experienced golfers alike, with a challenging 9 hole, Par 3 course designed by the legendary Sir Henry Cotton.
This historical parkland was once the former hunting land for the medieval castle that adjoins the course. Today, the course is the third incarnation on this site since the original Golf Club was established way back in 1896. Sir Henry Cotton, the three times open champion, designed the current course in 1964 for the use of the local community, and it opened for play in 1966.
The course is a Par 54, measuring 2326 yards from the white tees, and boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The deer still visit the club at different times, a testament to the natural beauty of the course. Whether they are safer these days or not is hard to tell.
The Clubhouse offers a relaxing atmosphere, and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a light meal in the cafe after a round of golf. Farnham Park Golf Club is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a game of golf in a picturesque setting.
